This course is aimed at new mummies and their babies, from 6 weeks to crawling. The classes will help to re-strengthen those muscles so importantly used during your pregnancy and subsequent labour and enable you to reconnect with your body and focus the mind in a calm and relaxing environment. Exercises will focus on drawing together your stomach muscles and strengthening the pelvic floor as well as toning other parts of your body and gentle stretching. The classes also focus on posture in relation to feeding, carrying, pushchair use: all the new everyday things your body has to adapt to now baby is here! Exercises will focus on regaining the balance between strength and flexibility in order for the body to function as efficiently as possible. You will became aware of which exercises will be beneficial for you personally and learn how to correctly strengthen your body as the weeks and months go on, so that you can eventually get back to doing the things you love. I care deeply about giving new mums the knowledge of how to build their bodies back safely so you can continue to participate in the things you enjoy. The course is also a great way to meet other new mums and babies and all participants will have access to my private Facebook group with other new mummies on the course where you can share in your concerns or ask any questions.
