About the Event

This introductory session is aimed at people interested in finding out more about the short courses in either Pilates or Yoga for teens to be held on 30th and 31st March and 1st April. You will hear from Ali Parker from Mind the Yoga and Sasha Brooke-Williams from Sasha's Dance and Pilates and how Pilates and Yoga can be so beneficial for a whole host of reasons for teens today. Sasha will discuss how Pilates can help with physical challenges currently faced such as posture and any niggles or injuries, from current sports or other physical activities. Ali will discuss how Yoga can be a huge benefit for mental wellbeing, learning breathing and relaxing techniques as well as stretching and challenging the body in a mindful way. You will have an opportunity to ask questions and come away with a knowledge of how either, or both practices, can help you with any challenges you are currently facing.
