Joseph Pilates founded the discipline in New York City with his wife Clara after training in many different forms of fitness for several years beforehand. Due to his childhood illnesses he took up a variety of fitness training which subsequently evolved into the form 'Pilates' we know today. 

Pilates truely is for everyone and can help improve general fitness and well-being as well as helping with chronic conditions such as back pain, arthritis and circulatory problems. 

The six principles of Pilates are: Centering, Concentration, Control, Breathing, Precision and Flow. Each Pilates session will embody each of these and you will leave with a sense of focus and well being. 

VINYASA YOGA

Monday 7:00pm

This particular class helps build a strong core from which one can transition into new positions and exercises. This flow centers around control and precision, with a diversity of exercises and modifications to suit a wide range of levels from beginner to advanced. With this class, you will learn and practice the tools needed to lead a healthy and fit lifestyle, while also remaining mindful in every act you perform.
